Life...

So life has been full of change for us, not like you don't know. Mark has officially started commuting up to Evanston for work, a drving time of 3 hours a day :( It has only been a week and I am pretty ready for us to settle in one place. He loves staying with his family and I love staying here to work. I have had one job offer that I turned down and am waiting for another. It will be a great opportunity while finishing school. So needless to say we are anxious to see how work works out for the next few months and my school.
Some great news that will has caused another change is we are having a baby GIRL! We are expecting her a week before Turkey day (stay in a little longer so I can eat for two), jokes! Mark is guessing I will come early with work part time and school full time...my guess I will go late and become a humongous pregnant person. We are SO excited...she looks adorable in her US...I really can't wait to meet her.
I have nothing else fun to say...cuz nothing compares to a new baby...when I do anything fun by myself I will be sure to let you know!

Escapes from the real world...

Mark and I both had Wednesday off, the joy of working at a hospital and being done with school, and the joy of the stress of Mark and him starting a new job. We thought it would be perfect if we weren't home bodies and went and explored Provo canyon for the first time in more than 3 years of living here! It was amazing how beautiful it was up there, lots of trees and water. We hiked up to Bridal Veil Falls, (its about time for how many times we have driven past it) and we were like thats as close as you get...lame! We found a trail and started hiking towards it, which meant up. It wasn't a bad hike at all, and there weren't many people up there, just 2 kids. Mark wanted to continually hike higher to the falls...which heights aren't quite my fancy and wet rocks don't make it better. All I could think is we were going to be the breaking news on at 5. It was quite an adventure. While we were sitting next to the fall, getting a nice shower, these 2 boys have hiked up...BAREFOOT! Don't you remember the days of playing outside and them not hurting, not no more! They were getting ready to climb down and one asked if we would help him, I said of coarse cuz I am chicken too (probably not the best self esteem booster, DUH!) I thought it was funny! I then got brave while Mark helped him. But he was so good cuz he didn't help him he just told him where to hold on, he is such a good helper! We ended up hiking for 3 hours along the river and I saw my first beaver! My feet and other things were tired so we left. We left and ended our escape at the chiropractor. Now he is playing his wonderful game with his brother and I am being completely unmotivated. But come on...an updated blog twice in one week!

I always tend to give great cheesers!

Here is Mark trying to help the boy I called chicken, oops!
